A labor of love, built entirely from the ground-up by friends and family in the spring of 2015. Allied Tattoo was founded by Tattooers, in service of Tattooing.

A direct response to the continued plague of corporate-structured megashops that that turn artists into a grist-mill of money for non-tattooing bosses, and austere off-street “private studios” populated by lone hobbyists blindly feeling their way through the basic technical foundations of the craft.

Driven by the fundamental truths that humans do not flourish under corporate structure, and Artists do not progress sitting in a room, alone. Allied is unapologetically, a Tattoo Shop. A room full of friends, having fun and making art as they make a living. Pushing and inspiring each other into technical and artistic elevation. All with a joy that we do our best to share with our clients and surrounding community.

That “All are welcome” within our walls is a foregone conclusion. We are open, approachable, and eternally grateful for all who choose to spend time with us and take some refuge from day to day life by engaging in tattooing’s ancient and magical ritual of art and connection.
